Wonderful appliance. Very efficient. However, using the air fryer chicken thighs and lack of dilligent cleaning created a. Smoky and messy oven. It took a long time for me to figure out steam cleaning which works well with routine cleaning, so I am still cleaning the oven with elbow grease, oven cleaner and a greater appreciation for routine maintenance

There is so much to love. I love boiling water in half the time. I love pizza crust so crisp as if it came out of a pizza oven. I love air frying. I love the promise of a tax rebate. I love looking forward to lower energy expenses compared to my gas stove. I love its stylish look and how easy it is to clean. I love that Consumer Reports gave it a rating of 87. Only one other induction range got a higher rating of 89. It was four times the price. I smile as I remember it was delivered on Tuesday, February 14...Valentine's Day! I fell in love.

I purchased a different brand 12 years ago (GE), and loved the features of induction. I like my Frigidaire even better--for the air fry feature, along with the induction top, with burners that detect the pan size. My son was amazed when we cooked on it the day it arrived--boiling water for pasta was so fast! The surface is so easy to clean--better than burners (gas or electric). He owns a gas range, and might want to get the Frigidaire Gallery now!

The induction stovetop is awesome but the oven cooks unevenly, burning some parts of the food and undercooking other parts. If I put in a sheet of cookies, some will burn, some will be uncooked, and some will be perfect. When you open the oven door, you get blasted by heat/steam and it is also very difficult to move to clean underneath. The auto oven cleaner function works well.

This stove top cooks so evenly and quickly heats up with so many levels. I can easily adjust and get a very low simmer if desired. The feature of induction is amazing, with the heat going to the pan and not the surrounding surface. Going off when the pan is removed is so helpful. Cooling down is quick, too. Cooks so evenly.? The oven handle is too curved and shallow to fit kitchen towels and cloths easily. Plus, they slide off onto the floor. My old, antiquated electric Frigidaire of over 50 years had a much better, ergonomically-shaped handle with more space for 3 or 4 kitchen towels and cloths to hang on. The burner levels have no indication of temperature. My stovetop induction single burner plate, a NUWAVE PIC* FLEX, had temperatures with each heat level setting. These were especially useful when recipes called for specific cooking temperatures or temperature ranges.The bottom drawer is too small for my large pizza pan. My old antiquated Frigidaire's bottom drawer fit all my large rectangular, round, and square baking sheets and pizza pans, but this one is too small. The top ledge at the back and top of the stove is almost useless, as it's slanted and narrow. My old Frigidaire of over 50 years had a nice wide flat ledge for placing frequently-used jars of condiments or spices. That same space on the induction stove is almost too narrow, and is slanted, so stored items have to lean against the back wall. I'm so disappointed. These might seem like small details, but they are important ones for me.Who designed this stove, someone who never cooks?I do prefer the induction system over electric and gas ranges, no problems there. I don't know if I will ever use the Air Fry feature.

I am impressed by the stove top. Its cooks quick and precise. I used to have gas stove and after using this one l am never going back. Oven also does a great job with roasting and baking. It takes time to learn how to use different options. The only thing that l wish it was better is the oven fan noise. The fan is always on during regular and convection baking.

I decided to switch over from my old gas stove because I have asthma, and because I wanted something more environmentally friendly. I never liked electric stoves but this induction stove is awesome. I'm still learning it and haven't tried all of the functions yet, looking forward to trying the air fryer, but everything I've done so far has been impressive. I can boil a teakettle in under a minute. Half of my old cookware works with this stovetop--I'm giving the rest to my nephew for a housewarming gift. I'm waiting for my new cookware to be delivered so I can really explore every aspect of the stove top. Until then, I'm boiling noodles in a cast iron dutch oven and making applesauce in an old teakettle and it's working out fine. The stove looks great in my rustic kitchen, and I'm excited about the self-clean option. I'm completely impressed with everything I've done with this stove so far.

Cooktop is fine, Oven not so much

The cooktop works well and is an adequate substitute for propane. There is a bit of a learning curve but nothing too difficult. And the burners can make a little bit of a humming noise but not really loud enough to be annoying. The oven, on the other hand, is a big problem. It's the fan. It sounds like a jet engine taking off. If we could avoid it, I'd say the range is ok. But even if you put the oven on just BAKE mode the fan comes on and off just as if it was in Convection Bake mode. It is annoying and frustrating beyond belief that we can't turn the overly loud fan off even though we are more than willing to bake without convection. So really can't recommend until Frigidaire either supports a baking option that doesn't include the fan or fixes the loud fan noise.

The right thing to do

I went with this stove because it was the right thing to do in terms of the environment and I can't stand electric stoves, so slow. This induction stove is awesome, heating up on a dime, faster than my gas stove. The oven I haven't used as much and generally use on regular bake. I did use convection once and it did cook it faster. It will take more of a learning curve. Since I have a small kitchen I thought it would be nice to have the air fry in the oven but it doesn't come with the mesh attachment and sounds like there is smoke and splatter. I don't really need that or the foods that come with that. I am happy with the purchase but like anything that requires change it takes a while to learn.

Great induction stove and convection oven. First time to try induction and had to purchase new pans. The stove top heats quickly and evenly, with no burning or mess to scrub, just wipes right off. Efficient and easy to learn how to use. A few tips - read the manual so you understand how to get started, purchase a 4-line power cord 50 amp and ensure your dedicated 240 outlet is ready if in traditional single family home. Great unit and very happy so far.

Upgrade from gas stove

We switched from a decent quality gas stove because we didn't want the fumes. We went with this model because it was highly recommended by consumer reports, and has a good price point.Pros: - No fumes after first break-in bake - Range heats up VERY fast (be careful with thin pans, it can warp them) - Very even heat on the range compared to gasCons: - Minor issues with fit and finish. The door isn't exactly aligned, the front edge can get quite hot when baking. The bottom drawer falls out easily. The back panel feels a little flimsy (visibly moves when you push the buttons on the control panel). - Not every pot or pan works with induction. This is just the way induction is, we knew that and most of our pots and pans work great.Overall we're quite happy, and the minor issues are not such a big deal given the low price. Hopefully it holds up over time.

Love the oven, hate the control panel

I absolutely LOVE the induction cooktop and the air fry feature and use them constantly and with great joy. The Air fry options have made me eat more vegetables and have healthier dinners. The induction stove works well and I appreciate that it doesn't heat my kitchen up as much as gas and is more climate friendly.My quibbles are that the control panel is very unfriendly. The buttons for the induction burners are super unresponsive and I have to hit them several times to get them to work. The timer works by having you hit "timer, number, timer" instead of "timer, number, start" which would make more sense.I would also say that when you open the stove, you get a genuinely painful wave of steam in the face. My husband is looking into getting us a sticker to remind us of dangerous steam! The first time I opened the oven to get tater tots out, I thought I'd burned my face.Finally, while I knew some pans wouldn't work with induction, I was disappointed that I can no longer use my cast iron griddle which my family used to use weekly for pancakes. Because it has smart sensors on the induction cooktop that look for round pans, my cast iron griddle doesn't work (doesn't register as a pan). We're cooking pancakes in two cast iron pans for now, which isn't quite as good.

This is an excellent replacement for our old gas stove. It's a low-end model, so sheet metal and trim are lightweight and possibly not super durable, but induction is quicker, safer, better all around. Induction burners make a very faint buzz with some pans, but it's not an issue. LWe haven't tested the convection oven yet.

This range replaced a 24-year-old Frigidaire glass top range and is my first experience with an Induction cook top. So far, I'm happy with the induction cooking once I replaced most of my old pans. The stove top is harder to keep clean with this range than my old glass top. It seems to show every finger print and such. At first, we had difficulty turning on the burners but have figured out that putting your finger flat on the button works much better. The oven is a bit noisy but does a nice job of baking. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would buy again.

I went from an electric stove to gas when we remodeled our kitchen. I hated my new gas stove. I researched induction cooking. Replaced my new gas stove with induction. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stove. Easy to clean the cook top, heats up quickly and makes cooking a joy again. You do need new cookware for the induction cook top. Small price to pay for all the benefits you receive.

A big pot of water boils in no time at all! The food heats up amazingly fast on the cooktop. And the best feature of all is that will hardly any effort, the cooktop is clean and shiny.

Frigidaire Induction Range

We love the flat work surface and the fact that it remains cool near to where we are cooking. Induction is definitely the way to go - it's quick and efficient. We also really like the sleek and modern design and the fact that it is part of an entire line of Frigidaire products that have a similar look and feel. Brand new stove throwing error E022

The stove works great. But 4 or 5 times a day, it just starts beeping with the error E022. I clear it by hitting off buttons. But it continues.

I wish Frigidaire would have contacted me immediately upon learning of my purchase, about their insurance. I bought what the appliance dealer recommended, but the Frigidaire insurance is much cheaper in cost. Could have saved me money and had another customer.

Faster Cooking and Lower Energy Bill

Great range when compared to older electric ranges. Induction cooktop is hot almost immediately and has cut my time standing in front of the stove in half. With the cooking time reduced so is the amount of energy I am using. Oven has a wide variety of cooking methods too. The only improvement I could ask for would be if the markings on the induction stove top were a little easier to see in lower light. I usually have to turn the overhead on to see the markings to properly place the frying pan.

We have solar electricity and have been slowly replacing fossil fuel dependent appliances with electric. The new induction stove is our latest purchase. The stove is fantastic although we did have to buy some new pots and pans but our old ones were getting a little tired anyway. The learning curve was a little slow, for a 70 year old, converting from gas but once you get the hang of it it works great.
