Don™™t even waste your time. This machine has a mind of its own. Overly complicated. The washer has a balance load option that even after you re balance the load ™¦. It still doesn™™t complete the cycle. Takes 3+ hours sometimes for the machine to balance the load.

I simply hate this laundry center. I already had service 2x on it. It was leaking and now dryer went out. Just got it in June 2023. So annoyed with the water levels and cycle times. Would not recommend.

This washer, by design, has no hot water cycle, even though it states that it does. During the "Hot" cycle it fills the tub with cold water, then runs in a small amount of water from the hot valve. The maximum temperature I have recorded is 90 degrees, and usually it's in the mid-80s. According to the repairman THIS IS NORMAL! It was designed as a "high efficiency" washer, and so DOESN'T HAVE A HOT WATER CYCLE BY DESIGN! Fridigaire doesn't tell you that until you by it and go to the customer support page. I am trying to get my money back for a washer that was DEFECTIVELY DESIGNED AND IS DECEPTIVELY MARKETED! This same complaint I have found elsewhere on the internet. If you don't have a problem with a washer with no hot, or even warm cycle, go ahead and buy it. If not, STAY AWAY before you blow well over a thousand dollars for this useless washer.

It fit very nice in our laundry, it was easy to install(it's heavy to move). It's was easy to level and to operate. Control knobs are userfriendly. Dryer filter need to be cleanned after every use. How it work for 20 years plus.

First let me say that the motor is quiet. The only thing that is loud are the beeps on the controls. But nothing serious. My clothes do come out clean and that makes me very happy. I had a Dinosaur and she finally gave up. So I'm still experimenting with my new one. They do take longer to wash and dry tho. But not too long. But I am happy camper.

I would of liked a better lint trap. Over time these loosen up and wear out. Ive seen better kinds that are a tighrer fit. Alao like to have had no vent holes on dryer door.

My dryer stopped working after 3 weeks I received the center, I™™m trying to go tact Frigidaire and I been on hold for more than 45minutes and waiting for reply on the chat for 1 hour. I need someone to come and fix my new unit ASAP, the wet clothes on the dryer it is sitting there for a day! I cleaned the filter, change all the cycles,turned on and off tried everything but stops working every 2 minutes, please help ASAP

My 30 year old Maytag finally gave up the ghost. You don't want to hear the saga of my search for a replacement..there is a narrow space just off the back door that is my "lanudry room". I had to find an all in one stacked unit that would fit this space. Frigidaire (and Home Depot) came to the rescue. It has cleaned clothes, towels, even quilts nicely. The washer is noisy at the stsrt, but otherwise no complaints (and no more trops to the laundries). Thank you.

I purchased my first Frigidaire when my boys were very young. Now one is in his early 40s and the youngest late 30s. Never had any work done on it for all these years. I had a Frigidaire Heavy Duty Laundry Center since Dec-1999, it was the best- it did serious heavy duty construction worker clothes-cleaning to delicates for 23yrs! Meanwhile, I researched and read reviews on all the top brands til my head was spinning, and not on the gentle cycle, this was a serious decision! I focused on Frigidaire reviews ranging from +5* to -5* - too loud, loads don't stay balanced, re-start timing issues, water levels, drum's too deep, dials don't show time left, etc. I finally narrowed it down, called the local Abt dealer and simply asked "what's better, GE or Frigidaire?" When he said, after 10yrs of selling washer/dryers, Frigidaire, my head stopped spinning! Without even looking at it, I took a leap of faith and purchased it over the phone- got a great deal, installation was perfect! After 2mos, I've done light-weight to heavy-duty loads, using all the various cycles, with zero issues, debunking all those negative reviews! I agree "they don't make things like they used to," but my Frigidaire Center works just fine- frankly, it's quieter! I don't know if it'll last 23yrs, but I stuck with what I know- Frigidaire, thank you!!

I've only used my washer/dryer stacked unit a few times, as I was out of state for several weeks. On my return I washed about 3 loads over a few days, then noticed there were two small puddles of water (or maybe one that ran from the back to the front). Since this stacked washer/dryer goes inside a closet in my condo unit, there is no way to walk around it to determine the source of the leak. Because of a schedule conflict, I've had to wait for the store's installers to come back and see what the issue is, and that is still a few days away. So I don't know what to say about this washer/dryer. Is this a defective washer, or was this an installation error?As for the washer itself, this is the 2030 version of the same washer/dryer stacked unit that I purchased 19 years ago. The older version worked GREAT...until it didn't. I thought this would be exactly the same (it looks essentially the same), but this version has LED lights and is obviously more computerized. I preferred the older manual version where you turn the knob to the cycle/ temperature/ fill level you wanted. I like to soak my whites for several hours-and I could do that with the older version just by lifting the knob to stop the cycle. This has a "soak" but it's only for a few minutes. Also, the agitation is not the constant back and forth of the old version and the max water level is ridiculously low. I supposed this is in the name of energy efficiency?Even if the leak issue will turn out to be an installation one, I am not happy with the changes made. It is not an improvement whatsoever. But given that space restrictions force me to fit a 27 inch wide stacked unit, I don't have a lot of choice.

My townhouse had a washer and dryer in a small downstairs bathroom. Modifying that room to facilitate cabinets and a sacker machine provided more usable storage. Yes I did repair and replace parts. That is expected. Parts are still available. However, as a machine wears out; the time between repairs became shorter. This machine is the same size. This is a win win. The new machine washes and drys just like the old one. See you in 25 years!

I am 73 years old and this is the first time that I've owned a new washer and dryer.I chose Frigidaire because of its reliability and value. I was amazed that a stackable laundry center could be full-sized. The washer works wonderfully and it's easy to use.The dryer dries my clothes in half the time as my old dryer (Maytag) did and the loads in that were much smaller. I am certainly pleased with my purchase and would recommend Frigidaire to anyone interested in buying an appliance. Frigidaire is a name you can trust!

Needed to replace my old, failing stackable washer dryer unit. This unit was priced right and fit down my narrow staircase. The washer has many settings, as does the dryer. And it does a great job cleaning my clothes. It's a great basic unit. Not alot of bells and whistles, but gets the job done right.

In our previous home we had the same model, when we moved to this home the couple that bought our home wanted to basically move in.... so they bought it with all our appliances and some furniture.....one piece was our washer/dryer....In our new home we changed to a side by side unit....and shortly had problems and it was replaced with our choice...and we chose a new Frigidaire!!!!!Again we got the same one with some update to it. And it was like 'an old friend' again. From the moment it was hooked up everything has been perfect, again. Our laundry room used to be part of our walk in closet so we used to set the dry to go hummmmmm away and put us to sleep. In this house the laundry room is pretty much wide open to the family room, where we have meals, hang out with friends and family and watch the news or movies as we all gather....and be it washing or drying it is no distraction. Its not visible, but its pretty open, but the machine is pretty quiet for what its doing.We have had no complaints and only once or twice has someone looked quizzical....?? "Is that the washer?" And gone to look in the next room, which leads to the guest bathroom and has the door to the back yard and pool..... "I didn't even realize its the washer, I can hear the hum....how convenient."It is convenient, for pool towels and cloths, to throw stuff in before grabbing something from the kitchen to go....and so on.When the lid is down, it's a great spot to toss a few things in and leave something onto as a reminder..."there is room and laundry to do...." The 'dings' the machine makes as both reminders and alerts, with out being annoying as some machines are. It does its job both quick and efficiently, and we frequently have guests for bbq and pool parties and for vacations and business (being in Los Angeles we have friends and family that come in for business they try to spend at least 1 night at our house instead of in a random hotel) and the simplicity of machine makes it great for anyone to use.Hot/cold - quick wash - dry - etc etc..... 'press start'....ding ...done.It dry does its job quick and both the previous one and this one.... it comes out fluffy and warm and spot on. The unit it is replacing had a sensor in a spot that even the techs that serviced the machine would say "off the record, it is in a bad spot, it will give bad readings on being dry...."Now the Frigidaire - like I said, when it dings..... I do not recall getting damp or kind of dry cloths. Nothing is 100% perfect in life, but I sure don't recall it even crossing my mind, so it's got to be pretty good. (I do about 80% of the laundry in our house...the rest is some our house keeper, guests and the Wifey - she's happy if I just try to do it so its one less thing to think of)So if I had my choice, and room is not a problem (because it's not for us) I'd pick Frigidaire and I'd pick this model. Maybe the next house, I'll pick a different color - if that is an option. Which would be very cool!!!!

I just had the unit installed a few hours ago an ran a small load on "Med" load and cold water only. When it got to the spin cycle there was alot of noise, and the spin went on for close to 15 minutes before I cancelled the wash. When I opened the lib, the clothes were almost dry. I have a service call in already with the store I bought the unit from. My main question is how long is the spin cycle supposed to take? My other question is, should I get alot of noise on the spin cycle?

The buzzing that comes from these units is a warning. Ours is just over a year old so past the warranty period, and the solenoid failed in the dryer. A week later, the gasket of the washer dropped into the motor assembly and seized the entire washer. It is easy to misbalance, no matter how you load it. This is poorly manufactured and should be recalled.

When you set the washer for hot it will fill the tub with 3/4 cold then the rest with hot. The water temperature ends up being room temperature same as if you set it for warm.

Not impressed. This washer/dryer combo is very picky and sets off the ™balance load™ on 8/10 loads, even in the most leveled machine. Not fun when you need your clothes washed in the time you planned. Also, it randomly locks your clothes in after trying to rebalance your load. Can take up to 20 minutes waiting for it to unlock. The dryer lint that falls out of the top load and onto the washer is killing my OCD. And thanks to inflation, the price doesn™™t help compensate all the frustration.

We lost our home in a fire and had to move into a rented apartment. The laundry room was small, but the Frigidaire Gas Washer Dryer Laundry Center fit perfectly in the small space. My wife loves the unit....it is extremely quiet and does a great job both washing and drying our clothes. This unit had the largest washing basket and the 5.5 cu. Ft dryer was large enough for blankets, sheets and towels. We are very pleased with this product.
